About Kotze Art Gallery

 

In 1967, well-known artist, Kobus Kotzé established Kobus Kotzé Art having his first solo exhibition in 1971.  Many other exhibitions followed.  Kobus studied agriculture and worked in the agricultural field until 1990 when he pursued the art industry full time and opened The Kobus Kotzé Art Gallery in Aliwal North.  

 

In 1994 verhuis Kobus en sy vrou, Joe na Bloemfontein, steeds voltyds bedrywig in die kuns industrie.  In 1997 sluit Kobus se seun, Floris by die besigheid aan en behartig die ramery en die bemarking van Kobus se werk.  Gedurende 2004 word die besigheid uitgebrei deur Floris en sy vrou Anine met die stigting van Kotzé Kuns • Art.  Die werke van professionele Suid-Afrikaanse kunstenaars wat werk van hoogstaande gehalte lewer word sederdien bemark.  In Julie 2006 word die Kotzé Kunsgalery geopen in Genl. Dan Pienaarrylaan in Bloemfontein.

 

The Kotzé Art Gallery travels to all the major National Festivals, including KKNK, Aardklop, InniBos, Bloem Show and the Volksblad Art Festival.   Adding to this, the gallery also host their own exhibitions throughout the year. 

Die Kotzé Kunsgalery doen hul raamwerk self (ook vir die publiek), wat beteken dat die raamwerk altyd teen hoogstaande gehalte en professioneel gedoen word.  Vir meer dienste sien gerus die “Contact ” bladsy. In 2008 het die Kotzé Kunsgalery personeel vermeerder met die aansluiting van Arni Louw, as bestuurder van die galery.
